The client, Argenta/Investar, wants to provide an office environment that supports “activity-based” work.
They want to create an inspiring work environment that encourages people to meet and collaborate, while also allowing for focused individual work. Attention must be paid to physical and mental well-being and to ergonomics, so that individuals and teams can perform at their best.
This approach also makes room for more than just work. Consequently, no workstations were set up on the ground floor; instead, a central meeting space was created where people can meet, collaborate, and relax. The office environment is designed to facilitate an efficient commute. To this end, 350 parking spaces for cars and 210 bicycle parking spaces are provided.

OSQB strengthens the construction team by taking on the role of project management; prior to construction, the documentation is reviewed with the designers to create a construction plan. The various phases are modeled in Revit (3D) for all disciplines: architecture, structural engineering, and building services. This allows for early (clash) detection checks on the various building elements and components.

The overall project consists of several phases involving the renovation and construction of a total of 54,000 m² of office space. In the front building, optimized precast mushroom-shaped slabs were installed across all 7 floors. These are efficient and easy to install without framework. This approach allowed for the creation of floor slabs without heavily sagging beams, which facilitated the coordination of the utility routing.
