Since 2011, ‘de Studio’ in the former Studio Herman Teirlinck building has been operated by Villanella, an arts center for young people, as a creative hub that hosts dance, theater, parties, festivals, and debates. As the perfect complement to this, they also wanted to install a cinema in the building to offer even more cultural programming. OSQB conducted the structural analysis for the elevator shaft and stairwell, the emergency staircase in the inner courtyard, and the large cinema auditorium.
