Art Academy Wilrijk
The interior design of the new arts education campus in Wilrijk was approached in a budget-friendly and sustainable manner using simple custom furniture for such items as counters, cabinets, presentation pedestals, coat racks, graphic letters for location and class signage. All furniture is fabricated from simple standard plywood panels that are
brightened up with colorful and durable laminate panels. Even the smallest residual panel is reused for such things as the graphic letters and for the reception desk which is designed in a playful way.
