The Greenfield project consists of three buildings with approximately one hundred apartments and about thirty affordable housing units. The buildings are located on a major thoroughfare in Hasselt. Nevertheless, residents enjoy an attractive green space featuring a beautiful courtyard garden and a stylish water feature. The apartments, each with a terrace, form a single architectural whole with the commercial base. These are spacious apartments of various sizes, with underground parking and excellent accessibility. We opted for a reinforced concrete frame structure, consisting of columns, floor slabs and beams. This provided the necessary flexibility for the interior layout of the spaces. The facade materials are a combination of gray and black materials. The facades of the commercial base consist of glass surfaces and glazed panels. They give the impression of forming a single architectural unit in dark gray. The facades of the apartments were clad using a ventilated facade system with ceramic facade tiles.
